We are coming up on the end of the year and our Conference Art Fair, where we compete with other schools in our district and get to show off our talented students’ work.
As I’m matting and labeling these pieces, it is fun to see the growth of students individually and classes as a whole.
I was ruminating on this fact as I gathered some of the pen and ink pieces. These students are sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
Their skills continue to grow as they find their voices as artists. This is why I love high school!
